(1)Bearing burnout due to operator negligence. (2)False oil level. boiler auxiliary equipment operators generally check the oil level of lubricating oil by observing the oil level gauge on the bearing seat. In many cases, the oil level shown on the oil level gauge is not real, especially when the oil is emulsified, false oil level is easy to exist, which makes the operators unable to accurately judge the oil level in the bearing seat, causing the bearing to burn out due to insufficient lubricating oil.
(3)Oil leakage. For operators, oil leakage in rotating equipment has always been a headache. Once oil leakage occurs, it will cause many serious consequences, such as bearing wear or burnout. There are many reasons for oil leakage, such as loose oil pipe joints or damaged joint seals (such as aging O-rings), oil pipe corrosion, or oil pipe fatigue damage due to long-term vibration and contact with hard objects, as well as aging bearing seat seals (such as aging skeleton seals), bearing oil sling ring falling off, and bearing seat airtight system leakage, which eventually lead to bearing oil loss.
(4)Equipment overheating causes damage. It is difficult to form oil film of gears and bearings, equipment wear accelerates, and gear oil deteriorates. Most of these problems are caused by equipment overheating. In boiler auxiliary equipment operation, when the oil temperature exceeds 65 °, the oxidation rate doubles with every 10 ° increase, eventually resulting in lubricating oil deterioration. Lubricating oil deterioration will lead to reduced lubrication effect, thus reducing the equipment performance, insufficient lubrication and equipment heating. Most of the reasons are due to unreasonable bearing design, or it may be due to the deterioration of lubricating oil, losing its original lubrication effect, causing heating, or it may be due to poor oil supply causing heating.
