Desalination equipment system process description:
1. Single-flow dual-media filter
The single-flow dual-media filter is an important pretreatment device for the reverse osmosis system. Its function is to filter out fine particles, suspended matter, colloids, organic matter and other impurities in the raw water, thus ensuring that the SDI (pollution index) of the pretreated water is ≤4.
2. Chemical dosing device
In order to prevent chemical scaling of carbonate, sulfate, Ca2+, and Mg2+ ions on the concentrate side of the reverse osmosis, especially the last membrane element in the reverse osmosis pressure vessel, at a high recovery rate, and thus affect the performance of the membrane element, an antiscalant needs to be added before the reverse osmosis inlet water.
3. Reverse osmosis unit
Reverse osmosis is the executive mechanism of the entire desalination system. Its function is to remove soluble salts, colloids, organic matter and microorganisms from the water. The primary reverse osmosis system is designed with a single-stage reverse osmosis, with a design output of 0.5m3/h, a recovery rate of 75%, and a desalination rate of no less than 98% (first year).
The reverse osmosis unit includes four parts: a 5μ security filter, a high-pressure pump, a reverse osmosis membrane assembly, and control instruments.
