Working Principle of Water-to-Water Direct Mixing Heat Exchanger Unit
This unit mainly consists of a mixing tank, circulation pump, return water pressure pump, temperature control device, control instruments, and control cabinet. This unit has high heat exchange efficiency, low manufacturing cost, and significant energy-saving effects. The main feature is the direct mixing heat exchange of high-temperature primary water and low-temperature secondary water in the mixing tank, and the pressure of the primary water is fully utilized to minimize the power of the secondary water circulation pump. The unit has the following characteristics:
Heat exchange efficiency as high as 100%. Because the high and low temperature water is partially or fully mixed, the high and low temperature return water operates without temperature difference, and there is no fouling heat resistance, so the efficiency of the heat exchanger unit is as high as 100%, which is much higher than that of plate and shell heat exchanger units.
Performance Characteristics of Water-to-Water Direct Mixing Heat Exchanger Unit
(1) High-temperature primary water and part of the secondary return water enter the mixing tank for heat exchange, and after raising the temperature of the secondary network, it enters the heating water supply system. Another part of the return water directly returns to the primary high-temperature water system. In this way, the temperature difference of high-temperature water heat exchange changes from 30℃ to 70℃. When the low-temperature secondary water flow remains unchanged, the high-temperature primary water flow is reduced to half of the original; under the condition of a certain amount of heat exchange, the temperature difference of secondary water is increased to twice the original, and the circulation water volume is reduced to about half of the original.
(2) Saving pipeline investment. When the secondary water volume remains unchanged, the high-temperature primary water flow is reduced to about 50%, and the diameter of the high-temperature water pipe can be reduced by 20%, and the cost is reduced by about 30%.
(3) Saving electricity. Taking the heating area of 100,000 square meters as an example, other conventional heat exchanger units require 45KW (Q=45 cubic meters/hour, H=32m, P=45KW) water pumps, and the power consumption cost during each heating season is 129,630 yuan. If a water-to-water direct mixing heat exchanger unit is used, the cost will be around 83,000 yuan, saving 49,630 yuan per year.
(4) No water softener is needed, saving investment. After the system is running normally, the water replenishment pump does not need to be started.
