Wastewater treatment equipment

Wastewater treatment equipment - mechanical filter (quartz sand filter) is a pressure filter. It uses ABS mushroom-shaped water caps or spherical dome-shaped perforated plates with quartz sand bedding and water distribution. It is filled with several specifications of refined quartz sand filter media, with low resistance and large flow rate. It utilizes the filter media inside to intercept and remove suspended particles and colloidal impurities in the water. When the filter is fouled and the inlet and outlet pressure difference increases, it can be backwashed with water (or water + compressed air) to restore the filter layer's ability to intercept suspended matter. Multi-media filters can be divided into manual and fully automatic types according to their control type. The manual type mainly controls the operation, forward washing, and backwashing of the filter through valve adjustment, while the fully automatic type uses an automatic filter controller to control the operation, forward washing, and backwashing of the filter. According to the tank material, it can be divided into fiberglass tanks, carbon steel tanks, and stainless steel tanks. The inner wall of the tank can be epoxy coated or lined with rubber for corrosion protection according to user requirements.

Product Introduction
The mechanical filter (quartz sand filter) is a pressure filter. It uses an ABS mushroom-shaped water cap or a spherical multi-porous plate with a quartz sand cushion layer for water distribution. It is filled with several specifications of refined quartz sand filter media, with low resistance and high flow rate. It uses the filler inside the filter to intercept and remove suspended particles and colloidal impurities in the water. When the filter is fouled and the inlet and outlet pressure difference increases, it can be backwashed with water (or water + compressed air) to restore the filter layer's ability to intercept suspended matter. Multi-media filters are classified into manual and automatic types according to their control type. Manual types mainly control the operation, forward washing, and backwashing of the filter through valve adjustment; while automatic types use an automatic filtration controller to control the operation, forward washing, and backwashing of the filter. According to the tank material, they can be divided into fiberglass tanks, carbon steel tanks, and stainless steel tanks. The inner wall of the tank can be epoxy coated or lined with rubber for corrosion protection according to user requirements.

Performance Characteristics
Multi-media filters can remove large suspended particles from water, thereby reducing the SDI value of the water and meeting the water quality requirements for deep purification. This equipment has the characteristics of low cost, low operating cost, simple operation; the filter media can be reused after backwashing, and has a long service life.

Application Range
Mainly used for pretreatment of reverse osmosis, electrodialysis, ion exchange, and softening desalination systems. It can also be used for coarse filtration of industrial water supply with low water quality requirements, circulating cooling water, wastewater, and reclaimed water treatment.
